Former Motley Crue guitarist Mick Mars recently dropped a new single, “Undone,” from his upcoming debut solo album.
Mars’ upcoming debut solo album, The Other Side Of Mars, is set to drop on February 23 via Mick’s own label 1313, LLC, in partnership with MRI.
“Undone” is the third single from Mars’ upcoming album, and follows the previously released “Loyal To The Lie” and “Right Side Of Wrong.”
The album features contributions from former Alice Cooper keyboardist Paul Taylor, who co-wrote many of the tracks, as well as Korn drummer Ray Luzier and bassist Chris Collier. Jacob Bunton provides vocals on eight tracks and Brion Gamboa on two.
Earlier in June, Mars had revealed that one song from the record would seemingly be about his former Motley Crue bandmates.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, he said, “This is a song I wrote called ‘Killing Breed.’ It’s about narcissists that keep you pinned down and make you feel crazy.”
The guitarist has launched a lawsuit against Motley Crue, claiming that they tried to oust him from the band to deny him payments he’d be due as a remaining member of the band’s companies. However, they have refuted those allegations.
