Bruce Dickinson recently released a new solo single, “Rain on the Graves,” and shared an accompanying video.

Dickinson’s live band, comprising guitarist Roy Z, drummer Dave Moreno, bass player Tanya O’Callaghan and keyboardist Mistheria, are featured in the video.

The lyrics of the song were co-written by Dickinson and Roy Z.

“I had the chorus lyric in my head since I visited Grasmere for a wedding back in 2012,” said Dickinson. “It wasn’t difficult years later to create the rest of the song with so much rich imagery in my head!”

“Rain On The Graves” is the second single to be released from Dickinson’s upcoming 10-track album, The Mandrake Project.

The Iron Maiden lead singer’s seventh solo studio album is set to be released on March 1 via BMG.

He previously released the lead single “Afterglow of Ragnarok.”
