Perry Farrell’s wife, Etty Lau Farrell, provided an update on her husband’s physical and mental well-being with an Instagram post she shared on Saturday (September 21). This comes after Ferrell’s onstage meltdown in Boston two weeks ago, where the singer got into a physical altercation with his bandmates which caused the show to end early and ultimately forced Jane’s Addiction to cancel the remainder of their North American tour. “Perry is the gentlest of souls. We are equally astonished at Perry’s physical outburst as you are,” Etty writes. “We are taking a bit of time to ourselves, to reflect and to heal. Perry already has appointments with an otolaryngologist and a neurologist. With all of your love, kindness, compassion and support, Perry will persevere. He will recover. He will be happy again.
