The dates for the third annual Women’s Rock Fantasy Camp have been set, with the gathering taking place December 5th through the 8th in Los Angeles. The camp is open to “women only,” with all attendees assigned to a band that will be mentored by a rockstar counselor and learn how to perform songs affiliated with the specific musicians. The rockstar counselors set to appear at the camp are Lita Ford, Sheila E. (Prince), Nancy Wilson of Heart, Nita Strauss (Alice Cooper, Demi Lovato), and Rhonda Smith (Jeff Beck).

Campers will be taught some of the big hits from the counselors’ rock repertoire, like Heart’s “Crazy on You” (Nancy Wilson), The Runaways’ “Cherry Bomb” (Lita Ford), Prince’s “Purple Rain” (Sheila E.), and Alice Cooper’s “No More Mr. Nice Guy” (Nita Strauss), just to name a few. The weekend finishes with a celebratory show at The Viper Room on the Sunset Strip, with all campers performing live alongside their respective rockstar counselors. (Consequence of Sound)
