Brad Wilk Says Rage Against The Machine Will Not Play Live Again

Rage Against The Machine drummer Brad Wilk says the rock band will not be performing live again.

Wilk shared a statement on Instagram and RATM’s official X page.

“I know a lot of people are waiting for us to announce new tour dates for all the canceled RATM shows,” he wrote in apparent reference to RATM’s canceled reunion tour in 2022 after frontman and vocalist Zack de la Rocha suffered an injury.

“I don’t want to string people or myself along any further. So while there has been some communication that this may be happening in the future. I want to let you know that RATM (Tim, Zack, Tom and I) will not be touring or playing live again,” Wilk added. “I’m sorry for those of you who have been waiting for this to happen. I really wish it was.”

Guitarist Tom Morello was the only member of the band to attend a ceremony held in November when Rage Against The Machine was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Morello and other members of the band – Zack de la Rocha and bassist and backing vocalist Tim Commerford – have not commented on Wilk’s statement.
