Charli XCX has revealed that she is working on new music with her fiance and The 1975 drummer George Daniel.

During an intervew on the latest episode of “The Spout Podcast,” the pop star opened up about her plans for new music as well as her relationship with Daniel.

“We’ve done a couple of things together. We’ve got a few ideas in the works,” Charli said. “It’s funny, I have never been in a relationship with someone that I’ve worked with, so it’s like a whole new dynamic, but it’s cool . There will probably be a couple of songs that he’s worked on with me.”

The pair announced their engagement last month after starting to date in May 2022. The couple first met while working on the No Rome track “Spinning”, released on March 4, 2021, and they collaborated again on her album Crash, released on March 18, 2022, including the album’s title track and several songs on its deluxe edition.

Charli and Daniel released their latest collaboration together earlier this year when they teamed up with Caroline Polachek for their “Welcome to my Island” remix.
