Corey Taylor has announced new U.K. and European tour dates in support of his upcoming second solo album, CMF2.
The tour will begin at Leeds’ O2 Academy on November 8. The tour consists of five headline shows in the United Kingdom, followed by concerts in France, Germany and the Netherlands.
The Slipknot frontman also released the latest track from CMF2, titled, “Post Traumatic Blues.” Taylor had shared lead single, “Beyond,” in May.
He said “Post Traumatic Blues” is his attempt to describe for people what it’s like to deal with PTSD.
“Sometimes it’s so hard for people to understand the ups and downs, the severity of the cold and numbness, that I wanted to try and build a bridge lyrically between the ones living with the disease and the ones who are trying to help them,” Taylor said.
CMF2, a follow-up to the 2020 album CMFT, is scheduled for release on September 15.
