Deep Purple have announced the North American leg of their “=1 More Time Tour.”
The summer trek will kick off in Hollywood, Florida, on August 14 and wrap up in Scranton, Pennsylvania on September 8.
The British rock legends are touring in celebration of “over 50 years of Smoke On The Water,” with support coming from prog-rock veterans Yes. Tickets go on sale at 10 am local time on Friday, April 12.
The new run of shows will precede the previously announced U.K. and European leg of the tour, which features arena gigs in Poland, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Birmingham, London, Leeds, Manchester and Glasgow in the fall.
Deep Purple also have a number of headline shows and festival appearances lined up across mainland Europe this summer.
