Former KISS guitarist Ace Frehley recently released the title track from his upcoming solo album, 10,000 Volts.
“10,000 Volts,” which sees Ace taking over the instrumental break in the otherwise pop-centric tune, arrived with an accompanying music video directed by Alex Kouvatsos.
Frehley also announced that the new album, which he co-produced with Steve Brown of Trixter, will arrive on February 23, 2024, via MNRK Music Group.
Frehley said in a recent interview that his latest album would make his former KISS bandmate Paul Stanley “look like an imbecile,” adding further barbs to the their tempestuous relationship.
“Working with Steve has made a huge difference in my playing and writing because when he and I put our heads together, it just clicks,” Frehley told Nuvo about working with Brown. “If I’m at a loss for a chord or a verse or a line, he comes up with it and vice versa, and within three or four hours, we write a song.”
