Heart‘s Nancy and Ann Wilson, who have reconciled after falling out about several years ago, are purportedly working on new music together.
During a recent conversation with Joe Rock of New York radio station 102.3 WBAB, Nancy revealed that she is working on new music with Ann.
Nancy also said she is working on a few other projects, including one titled, Tomboy, in which she covers songs originally written by men.
“I think right now I’ve been working on ‘Tomboy’ the most because I love the title, for one thing; it’s almost like boygenius or something,” she explained, according to Blabbermouth. “But I’ve got a bunch of new ideas for songs.”
“I’ve also been writing new music with Ann, too. So it’s a real creative time,” she continued. “I think being on [my] tour right now, when I get home, I’m gonna really dig into the other projects, including finishing some new material with Ann. So, it’s really a good time to be creative. And I’ve got a new studio in my house, and so I can’t wait to sort of run tape on stuff.”
Heart last released a record, Beautiful Broken, in 2016. The sisters fell out following an incident that year in which Ann’s husband was arrested for assaulting Nancy’s teenage twin sons. The sisters reconciled for the 2019 “Love Alive” tour but haven’t played a Heart show together since then.
