Journey has canceled their U.K. and Ireland leg of their current 50th-anniversary tour. Ticket holders have begun receiving emails confirming that Journey’s 11-date run of shows this fall have officially been called off: “Due to circumstances beyond the band’s control, Journey’s UK and Ireland tour is unfortunately canceled. Refunds will be made from your point of purchase.”

The tour cancellation comes on the heels of another contentious legal fight between keyboardist Jonathan Cain and guitarist Neal Schon, with Cain filing a lawsuit against Schon alleging the band’s co-founder of lavish spending on the group’s credit cards while also preventing Journey from paying off their mounting debts. Cain also brought a similar lawsuit against Schon back in 2020. While their legal battle has forged a rift in the band, Journey continues their North American run of stadium shows with Def Leppard which goes through August before coming to an end on September 8 at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado.
