Motley Crue are celebrating their 43rd anniversary by launching an online virtual museum, called The Crueseum, The World’s Most Notorious Museum.
The group has partnered with Definitive Authentic/Invenium, the company that helmed Metallica‘s Black Box and the Def Leppard Vault, to compile, archive, and bring to life the expansive collection found in the Crueseum.
“This living, breathing, virtual museum, developed in partnership with Definitive Authentic / Inveniem, features memorabilia ranging from stage clothes, photographs, instruments, to mementos and many other gems – many of which have never been seen by the public,” a press release says.
The Crueseum is launching with three different collections: “Shout at the Devil,” featuring a celebration of the Crue’s 1983 album of the same name; “On with the Show,” detailing the band’s touring life; and “Home Sweet Home – Los Angeles,” a “dirty love letter” to their home city.
Fans can visit www.Crueseum.com to view the museum and to purchase items from the band’s private collections.
