The Postal Service and Phoenix have been announced as headliners for this year’s Just Like Heaven festival.
Just Like Heaven will take place on May 18 at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.
The Ben Gibbard-fronted Postal Service will play Give Up in full to celebrate its 20th anniversary, while Gibbard will pull double duty with Death Cab for Cutie earlier in the evening, and also commemorate and perform Transatlanticism for its 20th year.
“It’s a great festival and opportunity to bring the 20th-anniversary celebration of Give Up and Transatlanticism back to the Los Angeles area,” Gibbard says of the respective Postal Service and Death Cab albums.
Other acts scheduled to perform include The War on Drugs, Miike Snow, Passion Pit, Alvvays, Two Door Cinema Club, Phantogram, Metric, Gossip, Tegan and Sara, Washed Out, and many more.
Ticket prices for general admission start at $159, VIP passes cost $379, and special “Clubhouse” experiences cost $649. Tickets are on sale now.
