Radiohead and the Smile‘s Thom Yorke has scored the original music for Italiam filmmaker Daniele Luchetti‘s feature Confidenza, a film based on Domenico Starnone‘s 2019 novel of the same name.
Conidenza, which means “Trust,” marks Yorke’s first full score for a narrative movie since he did the music for Luca Guadagnino‘s 2018 Suspiria remake. In 2019, Yorke played a part in the music for Motherless Brooklyn, a film by Edward Norton.
Confidenza, which stars Elio Germano, Vittoria Puccini and Isabella Ferrari, is set in Rome and follows a high school teacher who gets romantically entangled with a former student.
The movie premiered at International Film Festival Rotterdam late last week. A wide release date has not been confirmed.
