Speaking on a new episode of the WTF With Marc Maron podcast, Eddie Van Halen’s son Wolfgang was asked if he is currently getting along with former Van Halen frontman, David Lee Roth. “Not really, at least as of recently,” said Wolfgang. “I thought we were on good terms, and he actually made a couple YouTube videos about me, about how much he doesn’t like me, which was, like, ‘Okay, cool man.’” As to what could have caused Roth to make those videos, Wolfgang thinks that he is now the target of the singer’s wrath, since his dad has passed away.

“He basically just said a bunch of stuff that was true to him, I guess,” Wolfgang explained. “It doesn’t matter if it’s not true because the people that are going to listen to it will believe it and use it to hate me anyway. So you’ve just gotta move forward. I think the big thing, one of the bigger things is that my dad isn’t around. So I think he just went for what’s still there to kind of point at.” (Blabbermouth)
